Temporal lift

The lateral browlift or temporal lift concentrates on correcting sagging around the outside of the eyebrow. It is not designed to target the middle brow area or sagging in the face. It is less invasive than an endoscopic browlift and is often performed alongside blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) or a facelift.

Your surgeon will make incisions at the temples (in the hairline) lifting the outer corners of the forehead before removing and tightening excess skin. This will help alleviate crow’s feet and sagging around the outer eye. It can also help lift the cheeks and provide a more contoured look.

The operation usually is performed under either a local (with sedation) or general anaesthetic on an outpatient basis. In some cases, an overnight stay may be required.

Stitches may be dissolvable or removed after two weeks. During this time you should avoid wearing make-up. Activity should be limited for the first six weeks.
