Mr Graeme Glass BSc, MBChB, PhD, FRCS(Plast)
Graeme Glass is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Bart’s and the Royal London hospitals specialising in craniofacial and chest wall reconstruction. He studied medicine and physiology at Glasgow University and obtained his PhD at Imperial College, London before embarking on post-doctoral research as a lecturer at Oxford University.
Mr Glass has extensive experience in the cosmetic side of plastic surgery specialising in facial and breast augmentation procedures, he pursued rigorous clinical training in tandem with his accomplished research work and following his award of the fellowship of the Royal college of Surgeons undertook specialist training in craniofacial, head and neck, facial palsy and breast reconstruction in addition to the prestigious Wellington cosmetic surgery fellowship.
The recipient of research awards from, among others the esteemed Academy of Medical Sciences, Mr Glass sits on the editorial board of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, has published over 45 peer-reviewed papers including influential work on wound healing, and has lectured internationally. He has a particular interest in upholding a standard of excellence in aesthetic research through his editorial work.
