Mybreast cosmetic surgery terms and conditions

These terms and conditions provide detailed information for patients considering breast augmentation with mybreast. They explain the fixed price package and what happens if you suffer complications and cancellation.

The fixed price and all inclusions are outlined. There are certain exclusions to the fixed price and these are listed below.

The fixed price of £4250.00 for breast augmentation with round implants with mybreast will be confirmed in writing (the "Confirmation letter") before booking. The fixed or agreed price is only valid upon issue of a mybreast written Confirmation letter.

You are contracting with mybreast, a division of MyAesthetics Limited. The services are provided to you by mybreast, and we have contracted with the Consultant and other staff and the hospital to provide those services to mybreast so that we can provide them to you under this agreement.

1. Fixed Price Package

  1. Pre-operative consultation(s)*
  2. Hospital accommodation for one overnight stay (if you decide not to stay then this will not be deducted from the fixed fee)
  3. Operating theatre charges
  4. Surgical appliances
  5. Implants
  6. Nursing Care
  7. Tests, drugs and dressings that may be needed during your one night stay in hospital
  8. Surgical fee
  9. Anaesthetic fee
  10. Post-operative consultation programme*

*The number of pre and post operative consultations varies depending upon the individual's requirements. The fixed cost covers any and all consultations that are recommended by your mybreast surgeon following the initial consultation for which the £25.00 initial consultation fee has been paid.

2. Items that are excluded from the fixed fee.

  1. £25.00 consultation fee for the initial consultation
  2. Personal expenses such as travel, phone calls, magazines, [your meals, additional drinks] and meals for visitors
  3. Consultations and treatment of medical conditions that may arise that are not related to your breast augmentation either before or after surgery
  4. Other breast related operations including but not limited to, mastopexy, breast lift, breast reduction, the treatment of breast asymmetries.
  5. Any items that are not directly related to your breast augmentation will not be included in your fixed price
  6. Should you require/wish an additional length of stay in hospital over the one night allowed for there will be an additional charge

You will be charged the standard hospital and consultant fees for the items above. These additional charges will be levied directly by the hospital, consultant or others from whom you incur them and are outside the scope of your agreement with mybreast.

3. Prior to breast augmentation surgery you should:

  • Sign and return your mybreast consent form
  • Arrange a payment method as outlined in your confirmation letter. You may pay by cash, credit card, bankers draft, local bank deposit, credit/debit card or via our recommended finance plan
  • All monies must be paid in full or your finance plan accepted by our finance company 14 days prior to surgery. If the full amount is not received within this time the surgery will be cancelled

4. The consultant

The consultant is engaged by mybreast so we can provide his or her services to you. The consultant is not employed by the hospital or mybreast and is an independent contractor.

You must answer any questions put to you by the consultant or other clinical staff truthfully, completely and accurately and provide any information which may affect your initial consultation, treatment or recovery.

5. Personal Details

You agree that we (mybreast) can use your personal details for the purposes of providing you with clinical and surgical services, providing pre- and post-operative advice and treatment and administering our agreement with you.

This information may be provided to other clinical organisations and individuals (including the consultant, clinical staff and the hospital).

We may also use your contact details to provide you with occasional information about other services we provide or may provide in the future. If you do not wish to receive this information, please tell us.

Your 'What ifs?' answered...

  1. What if I decide not to proceed with my breast augmentation?
    • mybreast will refund in full any monies paid excluding your consultation fee and deposit if notice of cancellation is given at least 7 days prior to your surgical date. If cancellation is for medical reasons/special circumstances this can be reviewed.
  2. What if I suffer complications following discharge from the hospital?
    • We take steps to ensure that the hospital, consultant and other staff perform to best clinical practice, in terms of both pre-and post-operative care, as well as undertaking the procedure itself.
    • mybreast will cover surgical cost of re admission to hospital and re-operation if you develop implant related complications within 6 months of surgery.
    • mybreast will cover surgical cost of re admission to hospital and re-operation if you develop capsular contracture that is felt would benefit from surgical intervention or implants rupture within 5 years following surgery.
    • mybreast offers free follow up and advice regarding implant related problems to all patients for life.
  3. What if my consultant decides not to proceed with my breast augmentation?
    • mybreast consultants reserve the right not to proceed with your breast augmentation at any stage. If this occurs you will be refunded any monies paid.
