COVID-19
Essential information for patients and visitors regarding COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)

Essential COVID-19 Information
The safety of our patients, visitors, staff and consultants is of the utmost importance to us all at Mybreast. We are therefore following the daily guidance from Public Health England (PHE) on the response to COVID 19. MyBreast is assessing patients for COVID-19 before they arrive at any of our facilities. We are unable to accept any admissions from patients who may be suffering from COVID-19. We do not currently undertake testing for COVID-19 this is centrally managed by the NHS and is now restricted to people requiring hospital admission. The latest PHE Information can be accessed here.
We would ask all patients and visitors to please follow the following advice:
Have you had contact with a person infected with novel coronavirus (COVID-19)
or
Have you travelled abroad in the last 14 days
If you have, you will need to reschedule your appointment until you’ve had 14 symptom free days in the UK.
If you have a new continuous cough or a high temperature you should self-isolate at home for at least 7 days. For more information on home-isolation please go to https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance
It’s very important that you do not attempt to enter a MyBreast facility. Your appointment will need to be rescheduled to a time when you have been symptom free in the UK for 14 days. For further information please access https://111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19
