Our Founding Surgeons
MyBreast was established by five of the UK’s leading consultant plastic surgeons with more than 70 years of combined experience in clinical surgery. They were brought together by their shared passion for cosmetic surgery and their dedication to delivering the highest standards of surgery at an affordable price.

Why Mybreast was founded
At a time when the marketplace was becoming flooded with commercial organisations offering variable standards, we decided to create an organisation that would raise the bar in terms of quality and care.
Our intention was to provide the very highest standards in cosmetic surgery, and to make these available to everyone nationally.
With all our experience and knowledge, we are now proud to provide a unique service to men and women: one they can trust to deliver the very best possible care and results.
Our management team ensures the quality and standards of all the work done by your surgeon at MyBreast.

Simon Withey MBBS, MS, FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Ed), FRCS(Plas)
"I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital, London and a member of the academic committee of the European Course for Head and Neck reconstruction.
"I qualified in medicine in 1984, with surgical experience in neurosurgery, abdominal and vascular surgery and cardiac surgery before embarking on plastic surgical training and have been working as a plastic surgeon for fifteen years.
"My career highlights include being awarded a travelling fellowship by the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons, through which I spent a year in Paris where I gained considerable experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. I have also published over thirty peer reviewed papers in Plastic Surgery.
"I have an active interest in surgical research, having recently been awarded a research grant by the Royal College of Surgeons.
"My interests include sculpture and skiing. The appreciation of three dimensions and the training of the aesthetic eye developed while learning to sculpt is enormously helpful when it comes to surgery, and has made me even more of a perfectionist."

Norman has more than 20 years of cosmetic surgery experience and is now in full-time private cosmetic surgery practice.

He has published more than 40 papers in medical literature and established an active research and teaching programme. He supervised undergraduate degree courses at Imperial College and now lectures nationally and internationally on the techniques of modern cosmetic surgery.
He has published a book Cosmetic Surgery the Facts, which provides a clear, informative guide to cosmetic surgery and an overview of the procedures now available. The book also features an explanation of what makes a well-trained cosmetic surgeon and how to choose one.
Norman enjoys the opportunity to enhance the quality of people’s lives through plastic surgery. His hobbies include being a 2nd Dan Black Belt in karate, experienced rock climber, mountaineer, scuba diver and skydiver. He also has a passion for Greek and Roman history.
